Welcome to the future!

Author: admin | Files under Uncategorized

It’s Sunday. It’s 4 in the morning. And I’m bored!

I felt like I should do something other than sleep, so I peeped into some people’s lives thru their online journals. I found some pretty interesting blogs and authors and it was really worth my time checkin their sites. And yeah I just have to say this. What is it with this time of the year and the topic ‘growing up-slash-contemplating the future’ because man, a lot of people (especially my fellow youngsters) are writing about it. I was just totally fascinated coz I’m plain anxious as they are about what the future holds and how will I ever grow up in terms of maturity.

Now let me have my own say on the scary concept called future. My usual advice: take it easy. Let the good times roll - just take one small step at a time and before you know it, you’re there. Of course it doesn’t pay much to think and contemplate at times but hey, DON’T make worrying a habit. That’s our parents’ job haha! In the mean time we just have to prepare for it by setting our goals and deciding for ourselves. (Gimme a hint if I sound like a mentor or a really experienced guy because I could be posing and I don’t even know it)

Moving on. So there, just build your dreams and don’t let anyone ruin it, don’t let the enemy engineer infiltrate your base or your World Tree be destroyed! Haha. Just earlier today I found someone who was tryn to kill my dream: my MOM.

Me (grinning): Ma, after I graduate I’m gonna earn bigbucks abroad, maybe in the US or CA, and I’m gonna stay there for good!

Mom: You think it’s that easy? It’s hell out there. They only have three weeks vacation etc etc etc . . . and what’s going to happen to you if you live alone? You can’t even take care of yourself. . .

So there ya have it. Anyone can ruin it for you, even the ones you love! Hahaha. I’m already on crack. I have to sleep now.

Peace!

PS. This entry was taken from my anon blog. Sry. I’m really tryin’ to write something but I can’t think of any topic at all. I’m blaming this on Warcraft III. This game is screwing my life bigtime… but it’s fun!

Yeah. Thing is, sometimes, you find yourself already there, without doing anything significant at all.

And yeah, I’m in THAT stage right now. Call it quarterlife crisis. I thought my quarterlife would roll by easily. Turns out it didn’t.

haha. yung take it easy at let good times roll does not really apply to me.

although i have my sense of fun, hindi ko maaalis sa sistema ko ang magisip. parang everytime my idle time, sa ibang lugar napupunta yung utak ko at nagiisip ng kung anong bagay.

anyway, that’s just me. and believe it or not, enjoy ako sa pagiisip at masaya naman ako sa buhay ko.

yay, lahat yata (ng normal na human being) ay dumadaan sa stage na ito, and true, that external factors will have an effect on your future - family, friends, even the society and the government! haha! enwei, nasa tao na lang yan how good he is in driving his life, but to worry too much tody about the future will not help… live one day at a time, we never know what’s in there eh.

ayown naman, seryoso masyado, ahaha! potek, DOTA na lang tayo, pero please wag mo galingan masyado at feeder ako, ahehe, baka mas magaling pa si P0yt sa akin, aha aha!

earning big bucks isn’t that easy. It takes bigger guts, bigger risks, and bigger sacrifices to earn those big bucks.
the future will always be there. worry less bout it. it will forever be uncertain. think of today, the present and what you will have to do for the day to make you think and feel secure about your future!

    apir!

    malapit na bertdei natin! ahahahaha

I remember myself two years ago, just after graduation. I was totally in your position. Yanno, you have all these dreams and you’re not sure about what’s gonna happen. And time will come when you just have to take the first step and do something, no matter how small it may be and then let the stream of fate take you from there. you just have to give your best.

    ^___^

I guess, what makes the future scary is the unknown. The future is hard to predict. No one can be certain if those generic “How do you see yourself ten years from now?” essays we’ve made in HS would come true.
